A child's colourful dinner plate
Kipi

Your plate detective

Kipi is a plate detective who is curious about food and firmly on your side.

A photo takes three seconds

Every food is allowed to be food

It knows the food you actually cook

One thing to try next time

How it works

Three steps, and about two minutes.

1

Photo the meal

Photograph whatever is on the plate. Breakfast, a lunchbox, the afternoon snack, dinner. It takes about three seconds.

Any light, any angle, straight from the table.

2

Kipi reads the plate

Kipi works out what is on the plate and keeps track of how the week is going. When something stands out, Kipi mentions it.

Foods, textures, variety, hidden sugar.

3

One easy idea for next time

One specific suggestion, built around what your family already eats. Take it or leave it.

Something you could try tomorrow, if you feel like it.

Why Forkpie

Built to fit real family life.

Clear answers you can act on

Forkpie explains what is on the plate in plain words, then suggests one thing you could do about it tomorrow.

Built for Central and Eastern Europe

Forkpie knows covrigi, lángos, kürtőskalács and mămăligă. The Romanian and Hungarian are written by people who grew up eating all four.

Gentle by design

Eating habits change slowly, so Forkpie is built to stay useful over months.

The principles we built on

Forkpie isn't built around engagement metrics or daily streaks. It's built around one question: what actually helps a real family eat a little better, without making them feel worse about themselves?

1

You decide what goes on the plate

Parents are perfectly capable of making their own decisions. Forkpie tells you what your child is eating, as accurately as it can, and then gets out of the way.

2

Worry helps nobody

A parent who is anxious about food tends to pass it on. We would rather you finished a meal wondering what to try next than counting what went wrong.

3

A bit better is enough

A slightly better week, repeated, does more than one perfect day. One new vegetable a month is real progress, even when it feels small.

Try Sugar Detective, free and open to everyone

The average child in Europe eats nearly twice the sugar health experts recommend, and a lot of it comes from products labelled "healthy". Sugar Detective shows you how much is in a snack before it goes in the trolley.

Meet Kipi

Kipi came with a magnifying glass and an eye for detail. Kipi looks at what is on the plate, notices the patterns you are too busy to see, and now and then suggests something worth trying.

Kipi is a character. Think of a friend who happens to know a lot about food and always leaves you feeling better about dinner than before.
